ABOUT ME

The first game I ever played was Journey.

At the end of playing I was exhausted, moved and overwhelmed. It felt like a home coming, like I’d missed something that I never knew existed. I knew from that moment, even as a virgin gamer, that I had to write music for games. For me it’s the perfect marriage of music with purpose, creative collaboration and a medium through which a magical synthesis of the arts and technology can enhance the lives of others.

I have found myself drawn to games of beauty, story and character driven games where there’s a sense for the player of really developing over time. I haven’t replayed Journey as I’m not sure the reverent experience I had first time would be the same again but I love Abzu, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Erica, Dear Esther, The First Tree, A Short Hike……

Thank you if you have stayed with me this far! If you are looking for music for your game I would like to humbly offer my services. Get in touch with me here.

I would love to work together with you and explore how story, gameplay and music can work together to create a compelling and emotional experience for your players.
